Hear what listeners heard July 15, 2019, on KHUH 104.9 FM, Seattle's Hollow Earth Radio!
The two-song “Panorama Set” mix aired exclusively on Hollow Earth’s “The Super Terrific Happy Hour” and is now available here on its own, in its entirety.
The mix consists of music that Steve Targo wrote in spring 2019, while staying in the Philippines. As he did on “Bakasyiong," Targo used free softsynths to create sounds and the jungles, mountains, oceans and beaches of the Philippines for inspiration.
But this time, nothing on "Panorama Set" was programmed. Each keyboard part was played live, recorded one track at a time. Everything was improvised. The “ocean wave” transition between songs was edited. Almost everything else is heard as it was played.
To date, there has never been a live Inner Travels performance. If Targo does play live, it's safe to say this is probably what he would sound like.

This album makes you feel like a better world is possible and somewhat close at hand. It isn't, clearly, we're stuck in dystopia, but it's so beautiful to dream. Fabio Viola
