“The songs on 'Sea of Leaves' come from watching raindrops crash into lakes and rivers, from dew dampening my sandals on walks down unfamiliar hiking trails, from bugs humming in a prairie.

"It is very much a synthesizer album, but with an organic feel. Perhaps I say that because I recall the joy that went into making it -- capturing the insect songs which were slowed down and woven into ‘Conversations with a Forest,’ discovering that two different improvised sessions synced up perfectly to form ‘Deep Valley Sojourn,’ and countless other fine moments I feel blessed to have experienced during the creation of this album.

“The first four songs explore sequencer-based composition and the possibilities of building layers out of patterns. The last three were played free-hand, and are meant to induce a trance-like state, best listened to in the evening.

"Let these earthly electronics remind you there’s a world outside that’s filled with beauty.”
